ABOUT THE EVENT

AICTE Sponsored International Conference on Green Technology for Energy Storage Materials (ICGTESM 2026) is Scheduled to be held on 22nd and 23rd of January 2026 organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Pattoor (Autonomous), Nooranad, Alappuzha-690529, Kerala.
We Invite Researchers, Academicians, and Industrial Professionals to share their latest innovations, research outcomes, and practical experiences in the domains of Mechanical Engineering and sustainability related to Green Technology for Energy Storage Materials. The conference will cover a wide range of themes including energy storage and energy savings technology, sustainable energy sources, green materials for energy storage, energy efficiency and management, thermal engineering, environmental sustainability etc. The conference provides a vital platform to explore how mechanical innovations can be harnessed to create solutions aligned with global sustainability frameworks.

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS

The Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) was started in the year 2004 with undergraduate program and started postgraduate program in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) in the academic year 2011-12. The department has attracted highly qualified and experienced personnel from various streams of Mechanical Engineering as its faculty. The department is an approved research centre of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) for the Ph.D. program. The department is accredited by NBA since November 2019.

The department houses state-of the-art instructional laboratories, project laboratories and research laboratories. The department provides supportive learning environment to both UG and PG levels to prepare students to take up leading positions in academia and industry globally. The robust and engaging curriculum, along with hands-on learning, will empower students to elevate their careers to the next level. To perceive latest technologies and opportunities relating to Mechanical Engineering, the department has entered into MOUs with major industries and research institutions in the country to enhance student’s exposure to industry and research.

The faculty members of the department are actively involved in research activities which has led to more than 50 lakhs of research funding from various central and state agencies. In the recent years, the department has also organized many sponsored faculty development programs in association with AICTE and KTU.

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Organizing Committee of ICGTESM 2026 invites researchers, engineers, industry professionals, and academicians to submit original, high-quality research papers for presentation at the conference. ICGTESM 2026 aims to bring together thought leaders from academia, industry, and policy to discuss recent advances, innovations, and challenges in the fields of mechanical engineering and sustainable technologies.

Submission Guidelines

For the initial submission, use of the conference template is not mandatory.

Submission Format

  • Full papers must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (*.docx).
  • Manuscripts should be prepared in a single-column style.
  • Abstracts should not exceed 200 words.
  • Paper length should be between 6 to 9 pages with 1.5 line spacing.
  • The manuscript must follow this structure: Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusions.
  • Include at least 15 references from credible sources, primarily indexed journals, published within the last five years or recently.
  • Proofread the paper for grammatical accuracy; professional English proofreading is recommended.
  • Overall similarity must be below 25%.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring accuracy of data and must not engage in fabrication, falsification, or misuse of AI/machine-generated content.
  • Proper citation of sources and acknowledgement of contributions are mandatory, and all listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the work.
  • Submission Format for Accepted Manuscripts.

Publication

REGISTRATION DETAILS

All participants are required to complete the registration process to attend ICGTESM 2026. Registration of at least one author of each paper is mandatory before presenting at the conference.

Registration Categories and Fees

** No Registration fees for SC/ST Candidates.

The registration fee includes conference kit, certificates, entry to all sessions, lunch, tea/coffee and gala dinner. No refunds can be provided on the registration fee on cancellation. Once submitted papers cannot be withdrawn.

Accommodation on payment basis will be arranged in Sree Buddha Men/Women hostel at nominal fees.

OPTION 1: The nearest major airport to Sree Buddha College of Engineering (SBCE), Pattoor, Alappuzha, is Trivandrum International Airport (TRV).

The approximate road distance from Trivandrum International Airport (TRV) to the college is 106–118 km. The travel time is typically 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic and the mode of transport. From the airport, you can hire a shared taxi or a private vehicle that will get you to SBCE.

 

OPTION 2: While Cochin International Airport (Cochin/Kochi – CIAL/COK) in Ernakulam is a major airport in Kerala, it is NOT the nearest one by distance to Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Pattoor. Cochin International Airport (COK) is located to the north and is approximately 130-140 km away from the college, depending on the route. For most travelers, Cochin International Airport (COK) remains a highly convenient arrival point due to its connectivity, but TRV is geographically closer.

The nearest major railway station to Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Pattoor, is:

  • Mavelikara Railway Station (MVLK)

    • Distance: Approximately 15 km

    • Note: Chengannur Railway Station (CNGR) is another nearby major station, but Mavelikara is generally cited as the closest.
